Overview #
The Holidays Module is used to manage and maintain records of company-recognized holidays. These holidays serve as reference points for attendance tracking, payroll computation, scheduling rules, and other HR-related processes.
Each holiday record contains essential date, type, and applicability details, ensuring consistent holiday handling across HR and related modules.

Accessing the Holidays Module #
- Log in to the ERPat System.
- Navigate to Human Resource from the main sidebar.
- Select Holidays.
- You will be directed to the Holidays listing page displaying all existing holiday records.

Holiday Listing Page #
The listing page provides an overview of all holidays with the following information:
- Title – Name of the holiday
- Description – Work or non-work notes
- Establishments – Applicable establishments or business rule
- From – Holiday start date
- To – Holiday end date
- Type – Holiday classification (Regular or Special)
- Created by – User who created the record
- Date created – Record creation timestamp
- Actions – Edit or Delete controls

- Search bar for quick lookup
- Month and year selector
- Pagination for large datasets
- Refresh and visibility controls
- Excel export option
- Import Holidays button

Steps for Adding a New Holiday #

- Click the Add holiday button located at the top-right of the page.
- Fill in the required fields:
- Title
- From Date
- To Date
- Type (Regular or Special)
- Establishment(s)
- Special Rule
- Description
- Review the information for accuracy
- Click Save to create the holiday

Result #
The newly added holiday will appear in the listing and be applied to attendance, scheduling, and payroll processes.

Steps for Editing a Holiday #
Steps #
- Locate the holiday from the listing.
- Click the Edit icon under the Actions column.
- Update the necessary fields.
- Click Save to apply changes.


Notes #
Changes will reflect across all linked HR modules.
Updated holiday rules apply to future attendance and payroll calculations.
Steps to Delete a Holiday #
Steps #
- Locate the holiday to be removed.
- Click the Delete icon under the Actions column.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.


Holiday Type Indicator #
Displays whether the holiday is classified as Regular or Special.
Used for payroll computation and attendance policy enforcement.

Search and Filtering #
Use the Search field to find holidays by title.
Use the month and year selector to filter holidays by calendar period.
Pagination controls help navigate through multiple records efficiently.
Permissions and Access Control #
Only authorized HR or Admin roles can add, edit, import, or delete holidays.
View-only access may be granted to supervisory roles.
Best Practices #
Maintain an updated holiday calendar annually.
Ensure correct holiday type selection for payroll accuracy.
Assign holidays to the correct establishments.
Avoid deleting holidays that are already applied to payroll periods.
Audit & Logs #
All create, update, import, and delete actions for holidays are logged for audit and compliance purposes within the ERPat System.
