Overview #
The Drivers Module under Logistics is used to manage and maintain records of drivers responsible for handling deliveries and transfers within the system. It stores essential driver information such as identification details, license records, and delivery activity, ensuring proper assignment and monitoring of personnel involved in logistics operations.
Each driver record contains key data that supports efficient coordination and accountability in delivery and transport processes.

Accessing the Drivers Module #
- Log in to the ERPat System.
- Navigate to Logistics from the main sidebar.
- Select Drivers.
You will be directed to the Drivers listing page displaying all existing records.

Drivers Listing Page #
The listing page provides an overview of all driver records with the following information:
- Name – Driver’s full name
- License Number – Registered driver’s license ID
- License Image – Uploaded image of the driver’s license
- Total Deliveries – Number of deliveries completed by the driver
- Date Created – Record creation date
- Created By – User who created the record
- (≡) Actions – Edit or Delete controls

Additional Controls: #
- Refresh and visibility controls
- Excel export for reporting
- Search bar for quick lookup
- Pagination for large datasets

Steps for Adding a New Driver #
STEPS #
- Click the Add Driver button located at the top-right of the page.
- Fill in the required fields:
- Name
- License Number
- Upload License Image (optional but recommended)
- Review the information for accuracy.
- Click Save to create the driver record.

Result #
The newly added driver will appear in the listing and will be available for assignment in delivery and transfer operations.
Steps for Editing a Driver #
STEPS #
- Locate the driver from the listing.
- Click the Edit (✎) icon under the Actions column.
- Update the necessary fields.
- Click Save to apply changes.
Notes #
- Changes will reflect across all linked logistics modules.
- Updated driver details may affect assigned deliveries.


Steps to Delete a Driver #
STEPS #
- Locate the driver to be removed.
- Click the Delete (✖) icon under the Actions column.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.


Driver Activity Indicator #
Displays the total number of deliveries completed by the driver.
Used for:
- Monitoring driver performance
- Evaluating workload distribution
- Supporting logistics planning and reporting
Search and Filtering #
- Use the Search field to find drivers by name or license number.
- Pagination controls help navigate through multiple records efficiently.
Permissions and Access Control #
- Only authorized Logistics or Admin roles can add, edit, or delete driver records.
- View-only access may be granted to supervisory roles.
Best Practices #
- Ensure accurate and valid license information.
- Upload clear and updated license images for verification.
- Regularly review driver activity and performance.
- Avoid deleting drivers assigned to active deliveries or transfers.
Audit & Logs #
All create, update, and delete actions for driver records are logged for audit and compliance purposes within the ERPat System.
